For me if I look at page 7 nothings there.
Glad you are stopping processed foods, so bad for you, maybe once a month I will have a frozen kiev or fish product.
Wish you could send me some exercise vibes, motivation and energy, glad you are losing:)

Been way under 1000 calories past 2 days, mainly due to bad stomach, today Im finding it easy not to snack, think its shrunk a bit already, have a guest coming tonight, I know they will be drinking but Im not going to, think I may pop and get some favourite fizzy pop as even thats not as bad as alcohol for calories!
Loving the shrimp and lobster stuffed mushrooms, so low in calories and tasty, makes it easy to keep calories down, along with a nice salad with lemon juice for dressing, much better than all this carbs for me, although I did have french fries with cheese for lunch yesterday to settle my stomach, but even then it was only 160 calories!
Using myfitnesspal daily, great for knowing what you are putting in your mouth, only on day 3 but already feeling lighter!

My diets been non existant and as for exercise, joke!....well I have had a stomach virus last few days and have yet again lost a few pounds, Ive had a couple stomach issues the past month I think, I am sure its as Ive been out and about more than usual running to get stuff for contractor, anyway Ive lost 5lbs so plan to keep that loss.
Ive been toying with giving up meat for a while, I dont really enjoy or like veg, so am thinking I can have mostly salad and fish, shrimp and lobster, luckily I love stuffed mushrooms with cheese and shrimp and lobster so should be easy, Im thinking even if I just have meat at weekends this should help as fish is so low in calories.
So this week so far I have had no meat, Ive been grazing but mostly on homemade soup and ryvita with cheese, so far Im not missing it but its only been 2 days lol!
Anyway will update how it all goes:)

I "gave up" red meat a few months ago. Sure, I will still eat a hamburger every now and then but for the most part, no red meat for me; lots of chicken and shrimp with a bit of pork too.
I'm still trying my best to eat clean. My next big step will be to try and give up as much sugar as possible.

mm read the carbs on everything. i do, and you would be amazed at the carbs in a ice coffee from dunkin donuts. lol scary and i can not think about loosing an ounce just made ham and pepperoni stromboli. yup bought the dough and rolled it with filling inside and baked it. oh and cut the dough in half and make two or the inside will not cook. i know it is not diet but what the hell.

I do keep an eye on the carbs but also now trying to read ingredient lists - definitely stay away from anything with high-fructose corn syrup for sure. I try really hard not to keep too many snacky type items that I like around.
I went into a Fresh Market the other, just to see what it was all about. I couldn't believe all the unhealthy, processed things that they sell. People (around here anyway) seem to have a mindset that whatever FM sells is healthy but it's kind of deceiving. Just have to be vigilant is all.

Ive given up right now, Ive way too much going on to concentrate on it, once things calm down I will start again, meantime hope everyone else is doing good:)
HL, stress packs the pounds on or stops them going, youve had your share of that recently, dont sweat it right now:)

It is a lot of effort and concentration to change one's eating habits. While it's nice that Gerald keeps telling me I'm fine the way I am, I don't feel that way. So many cute clothes I don't feel comfortable wearing because of the bulges. It only helps a teeny bit to see others like that but I am not one for throwing caution to the wind like that.
I started WW again October 14th so I weigh in and measure every Wednesday. WW has you count points and with the app it is easy plus they give you nearly 3 days of extra points to use if and how you want.
These last two weeks I've pretty much stayed the same weight but there has still been a loss in inches although small. So I'm upping my exercise but just by 5 minutes per day. If I make big changes I'll crash and burn and I refuse to go through this again.
I though I could follow the plan on my own, for whatever reasons I can't. Spending the money makes all the difference to me, I think it means a real commitment.

I was thinking of kicking this back up and here it is. hope you continue to loose the weight even if it is ounces a week. they all add up in the long run to pounds. and yes. paying for something does make a big difference in how a person stays on track. AS for me. ?? well those few pounds are still with me. and i do try to not graze but it just pops into my mouth. lol Now that the holiday season is coming i shall cut back so i can splurge on the big feast days. smileys-home-474322

HL, it is so very odd. I know I shouldn't eat something, I'm not hungry, may not really want it and then like I blank out and all of a sudden I'm eating it! Like I'm possessed, the weirdest thing. Not all of the time but still!!!

Well it does make me feel better that I'm not the only one who eats like that. I have to watch what I eat now and for forever, it is so easy to go back to the same habits that got me in this mess. And the older I get the more difficult it'll be. At the rate things are going it'll be mid-summer or later before I hit my goal, I sure hope I'm not a saggy mess. Once at the tack shop I saw this woman, probably in her late 50s somewheres and she wasn't heavy but she sure must have been because her triceps were so very baggy it was astonishing. I gotta hand it to her that she wore a sleeveless shirt, I would never have done that, in fact I don't do that! I tried not to stare but golly it was really long and flappy.

I lost about 22 lbs this summer. I do it almost every year. My husband and I own a small mowing business and do local township cemeteries. We weed whip around each and every tombstone so I week whip about 3 hours every week and mow about 10 hours every week. That puts us at home at dark most nights for a quick meal on the grill and then bed.
I have done WW in the past and lost over 50lbs - but as soon as I stopped it mostly came back on

Carshon I think we've all had similar experiences because the way we want to eat is what got us too heavy. WW for me isn't about a weight loss program so much as retraining my eating habits to one that doesn't cause me to over eat and chose the wrong things to eat.
It was made clear just this week when I didn't have prepared meals ready and I gravitated to easy high point meals. I must eat a large percentage of veggies that I'm learning to make savory and full of flavor which makes them satisfying. More satisfying than what I usually choose on my own which is why I overeat!

I guess maybe a lot of us are forgoing this thread during the holidays? My weigh in day is Wednesday and sure enough even though I stayed within my WW points, but way more starch than I know is good for me, I gained 4 pounds and then the next day, it was gone plus about 1/3 of a pound more. Of course sheesh. But hopefully getting off the starches so heavy that little loss will show up again next week. I'm doing low impact aerobics every morning, just 10 minutes, and it helps me feel better and I think boosts weight loss. Gerald joined a gym back home and goes a couple HOURS every day. Maybe he's having fun but yesterday all of a sudden he says he's really sore, well no poop Sherlock! Lol. But he's sick to his tummy too. He gets sick a lot, it's scary because he had stomach cancer and a lot of his intestines were removed. But he also has sinus problems and that can do the same thing, poor dear. I wish I could "take" some of that from him. Anyway, I hope you all are well
