I hardly eat for my size. My problem is I can't get my heart rate up enough to burn the fat away. With having bad knees and back I can't do a tread mill or aerobics anymore...So I just try and not get any bigger...

Oh Lordy, now you're talking. Just went back to WW last week. It's a struggle to get back into good habits, so far so good.

I found not eating but drinking tons of fluids helps curb my appetite. but watching the food channel is not helping the diet situation

I have been on WW now for a few months. I am not really that overweight but boyfriend and I wanted to trim off the fat. I have lost 16 lb so far and am looking to do another 15 more. It really is hard. All the things I LIKE to eat are not good for me. I know what I need to do. I really need to get back into the gym. But I haven't been this low in a LONG time. I am going to try my hardest but we are planning on dieting wil January. It just stinks sometimes.

Lost two pounds with a new dinner plan. i only make a protein and vegetable, and salad. if i make a starch i eliminate the vegetable, and my portions are smaller. so for dinner lets us assume pork chops. i make two, that way the other chops do not wind up in my belly before bed. steak. one pound, and hamburger i use 3/4 of a pound for 3 burgers. one for the dog. lol and nothing to eat after 7 pm . hopefully this will help .

I seem to be in the groove for the moment. Went away for the weekend and sticking with it wasn't too bad. Pretty much I have cut out most carbs, (that's my downfall). If I'm good maybe I can have a treat!

The weekend was easy because we went to my friend's cabin, and we brought our own food. I know, those smileys sneak in there, didn't know it was going to happen that way, but it's fun. .

I've cut back my food intake again as well. ALL of the weight I lost after my Gall Bladder surgery has returned and then some, I tried to put a dress on for some reason and it didn't come close to zipping. Sooooooo back to watching my food and back to Tony Hortons Beach Body Work Out, I do the yoga every morning then add one of his other 10 minute work outs to it. I've got this terrible "dun lop" from having big babies and after just 2 weeks back on the workout it's shrinking my lop doesn't flop when I walk. I've just got to get rid of it, am almost ready to concede to having a tummy tuck done!

My WW friend is already talking about giving up, it's been about a month. I'm trying to keep her motivated, it's hard for her because she goes out to eat a lot and she works in an office where they bring homemade foods to share. It seems almost every week there is a party with . But when she sticks with it, she loses bigtime. Making homemade applesauce today in the crockpot for my sweet tooth. My head is still in the game for now. Stick with it everybody!!!

Val my boyfriend and I have been at it for 3 months now and have both lost about 20 lbs, but it is getting hard. We only have about 10 lbs left to go but I find myself craving all the things I can't have. We are cheating more then we use to but still losing a lb or 2 a week. It's just so hard! And I know these last 10 are going to be the hardest because I have had them for YEARS.
WE are going back to the gym this weekend. BF and I have slacked these last 2 months and haven't been in the gym so we are getting back into that. Atleast once a week we need to go. I just want to lose these last 10 lbs so I can get back to earting like a normal human being again and not having to count everything I eat, although now it seems natural to point out every piece of food that I go to put in my mouth.

How could a person stick to a diet when friends come from Brooklyn and bring italian lobster tails. stuffed with ricotta cream and chocolate covered strawberries. lobster tails is a pastry with the most tender crust like phyllo pastry and baked with cream. yummo
now back to not eating the good stuff and i am craving ice cream with pumpkin pie

Jclark,
20 pounds is great! I did the same thing a few years back, lost 20 and should have kept going, but I didn't. I was feeling really good too. But when I had gotten that low it really seemed to be hard, that it just wasn't something I could maintain. I should have kicked up the exercising too!
Horselady, sometimes you've just got to enjoy life, that's what I say!!

I'd like to drop about 10 pounds just to trim up. I was doing really good - walking 2-3 miles almost everyday and watching what I ate and how much I ate. Unfortunately school started again and it was too hot to walk at lunch time so I stopped walking so much and gained back the 5 pounds I had lost. With the weather getting better and now my son is driving, I am walking in the mornings when I get to work. I'm hoping I can start seeing these pounds drop off again, slowly but surely!
Congrats to all of you who have lost weight - it definitely isn't easy but the end result is nice (so I hear).!

So I'm just curious as to what others do for a snack that will keep you feeling full without all the calories.

The logical side of me says fruit. nuts. raw veggies. salad. and ricotta cheese remember to also watch your carbs, even some diet foods and drinks are loaded with carbs. even if it says diet. also plain yogurt instead of the one with fruit. again look at the carbs. now i am going to have my snack of goat milk cheese spread with some crackers and than go feed the horses.
