Started the yoga today, its a beginners set, was harder than I thought, quite a few things I almost fell over doing and stretches that I could get nowhere near what they are supposed to look like, I felt good after, sore in my legs mainly but felt it helped my back quite a lot.
I got a chakra cd to listen to, its not really my thing or should I say I thought it wasnt, I stuck it in the player in the kitchen while I cleaned up, cripes within seconds I was all tingly, I thought I was getting sick, i realised it was the cd and looked online and yes this is what it does, its weird, I tingled the entire time but at some parts I wanted to cry and halfway through I started to laugh and couldnt stop, Rambo thought Id gone nuts, I think everyone should get one now, I really enjoyed it, it will now be a daily thing for me:)
Sticking to the diet good, keeping just under 1000 calories easily, feel great, not losing tons but less bloated and hopefuly the yoga and running will tighten up the loose flab etc!

I avoid this thread when I'm bad and come back when I'm good. My weight fluctuates like crazy. I confine snacks work and the only sugary thing I eat at home during the week are real fruit Popsicles. Winter too. I love to but that leads to me eating it so that's a challenge. I am down a few pounds but it is soooooooo slooooooooow and takes so little to gain it back.

Me I too want to eat all of the time hungry or not though I'm not eating enough, every night the calorie counter gives me heck, I have 500 left tonight, won't be anywhere close using it, not sure how I'm managing on about 800 calories a day! I'm guessing in another 2 weeks I'll lose another 5lbs, I used to be crap at dieting!

I can't live like that without going back with vengeance. Which is why I still am overweight. More power to you. What I can do is focus on veggies, then protein, then fruit, then seeds/veggies, then if I have room, grains and lastly sugary stuff. That way when I overeat I overeat on good food not crap. If I had more resolve or if I didn't feel so "rode hard and put away wet" most of the time I could do more. On the other hand I'm getting more accustomed to being fat. If I hold on long enough, I'll be so old it might not matter or I'll have dementia like my mom and not know to care.

If I hold on long enough, I'll be so old it might not matter or I'll have dementia like my mom and not know to care. I'm a carb fiend, I hate veg and fruit not fussed, I love potatoes and chips and nuts, its been hard but I'm doing it, very pleased with myself, last week I had a small bowl of salt n vinegar chips, I stopped at that which for me is groundbreaking! Good that you can fill up on vegs etc I'm very jealous! I'm trying to get in decent shape before I hit 50, I find I have more aches and pains these days(47)so as every year passes and it hurts more and I'll be less likely to start! This way I'll hopefully shrink my stomach and discipline myself and manage to keep it up, I do eat a lot more at the weekend, you still have to treat yourself, but even then not as much as I used to:) You do have to want to do it for yourself, that's half the battle:) Wonder how mingiz diet pills are working

Had a fibroid burst so really heavy period so stopped exercising as the pain is constant so not exercising this week, shame as I was getting into jogging and yoga, still doing good on the diet and managing to keep calories and carbs down, I do find I need at least 1 heavy carb day or I have no energy, I did pig out on haribo sour candy yesterday as I had a right craving, now I cant even look at them lol!

My stomach looks pretty good now, ok its not toned or ripped lol! but Ive lost all that bloating, if I hold it in a bit I actually look skinny again!.....Im seeing good results just from keeping carbs at between 1000-1200 and having a few non carb days, I find I cant completely cut them as I get woozy, so now if I start exercising again I can tighten all the loose stuff up hopefuly, my thighs the past 2 years have started to get flabby and blotchy, I hate them, Im feeling pretty pleased with myself, I hate exercising even more than I hate dieting, I find it hard to stick too but Im hoping if I dont over do it that even a little will give me results that will encourage me:)
I quite like the yoga but admit I find it difficult but at least you dont feel like you are going to die after it!

Back to square one, I piled on the pounds again, this flus affected my appetite so not been eating good but I doubt Ill have lost much!
Hoping I find it easier to get back into exercising after this ill break, I struggled last time, so lazy, no more alcohol for me, this is going to be a hard one as hubby will start drinking thursday night right through weekend, heck he had 2 beers last night but Im going to do it as alcohol has so many calories and leads to more snacking!...plus it makes me even more depressed, Ive promised myself Im going to do it though so I will:)
Guess I should start trying to eat healthy again, should get easier now better weathers here:)
Hows everyone else doing?

This is not about me but my bf is trying to lose weigh. He does not eat the bread, sweet and sodas anymore. He is doing really well. In a week he lost 3 kg. I am very proud of him. He is such a determinated person. I don't mind his few extra kilos but I am glad he is trying to be healthier. Also when ever we can we run together and cycle. He does it every day alone, but it is more fun in two. Today he run out 5 km without stopping and back home I was following on a bike. Man, I am skinny and in a good shape but I would not be able to run that much in one peace. Hope he will loose that 10 kg we wants and be able to maintain that weight.
