No, the pellet hasn't caused further damage, but you know it hurt. There is a little lump, I always thought it was a bone chip, right under the point of the jaw bone where it attaches to the top jaw. I'm so technical!  Anyway, the xrays showed it's a pellet, surrounded with tiny shrapnel, there is also a cluster of shrapnel right above his right shoulder blade, there's a little space, I thought it was cracked. All is on the the left side, same side as he was hit on. He was definitely hit by a car, t takes quite an impact to completely dislodge an eye. Also evidence of broken ribs. I would think that was due to being hit by the car, but now I wonder if he was kicked. The abuse would explain his hostility for so long. His lungs show signs of an asthmatic condition, a reason for the labored breathing. Biggie, lymph node very enlarged, running a biopsy now. More prayers. It was interesting actually seeing the x rays. I'm still processing all the info. |

Wow, poor Sky! He certainly had a hard life before you found him. smileys-sad-593832 I'm glad he made it through the surgery. Fingers crossed that he will finally be able to start getting better now.

Went up to see Sky and talk to Jess. Now that my brain isn't whirling around all the new info, I could get a better picture, sort of. She did try to tap the chest, there was no fluid, which is great, nothing going on that way. It is down to one issue, the lymph node. I tried reading up and all I can understand is some kind f infection or cancer. All we can do is wait for the biopsy results. I still think the only word that can even come close to describing how I feel is shock. It's like between numb, sick and scared. You all have been great but we still need as many prayers as we can get.

Hey, no congestion around the lungs is a big deal after surgery, especially for someone who is rather weakened already. So I say a big, Whoo hoo! on that! And as always constant prayers, don't even worry about that

Wow, poor Sky, hope you both get some definite answers soon, lymph nodes dont always mean cancer, dont panic yet, prayers heading his way:)

Great, I just lost a long reply, I don't need that right now! In short, I'm not panicking, I'm very stressed and not handling stuff like losing a reply I spent time on! I'm getting, my head around having spent over $3,000.  I am frustrated that I can't find Cheyenne's papers. I need to put her up for sale, my avatar. |

No results yet. This waiting is one of the worst things I've ever dealt with.
Sky's attitude energy is better. He likes it under my bed, but then that's where he lived for so long in the very beginning, his safe place. Sometimes I lay on the floor and talk to him, if not he comes out before long at all. He is climbing up on my bed, with no more effort than before. He rubs and loves and head butts.
I asked about his teeth and the vet agrees they are an issue, but won't even talk about what we might do until the biopsy is in. We won't discuss the future until we know there is one. But then, she stays very optimistic.
I've been beating my head up against a wall with facebook. It says to log in, when I do it says there are problems and I have to do a scan, with a certain company. Checked the company out, a legit company. Ran the scan, it ends up with having found problems, but their only solution is to buy one of their plans.
Then I try t log in and get the same damn thing. Haven't been able to get on in two days. Can't do anything on my page or Sky's.

Happy to hear that Sky feels pretty good considering, his attitude is important.
Computers, cars and other drivers all suck. I guess it's our lot in life, wish I could help. Sometimes those error messages and warnings are a one size fits all. Sometimes rebooting helps the third time around. Perhaps a friend's computer. Like I said, wish I could help.

I wouldn't do those scans - they are actually advertisements (as you found out) to buy something from them. Try turning your computer off for a few minutes then restarting. Or perhaps try logging in to FB in a different web browser. I have found out recently that FireFox seems to be the most compatible with the things I do online. Explorer is old and outdated and not very useful anymore.
I hope you get the biopsy results soon. Did the vet give you an idea of how long it should take? It's been a week now.

Biopsy- 5-7 business days. They are using every last second!
What security system(or whatever they're called) do you use?
MalwareBytes, Norton, Avast, etc.

Well my computer at home is a mac so I really don't have any security systems in place (I know, I know). I think at work they use McAfee but I may be mistaken.

A friend I totally trust with anything computer, uses Avast, the free program.
I downloaded that and did a complete scan, cleaning up my computer.
Facebook is still saying they think I still have problems and need the scan. Exact same notice.
I don't have anything else to clean up or fix.
Still nothing on the biopsy. I wonder if I could go to the lab myself? Probably not local.

I hope you get the results soon or the holiday weekend is coming up.
i use chrome as browser and hubby wants me to switch to firefox, afraid to do it since i deleted all my information a few months back. i found mcafee was annoying and still wanted me to pay to delete problems.

I'm sure there are Consumer like reports comparing virus and malware programs. I think I have Norton. But there are many kinds now and sometimes they don't work with every other program. I'd call a local computer store and ask.

I did download Avast. Facebook still told me I had a virus, or whatever, and needed the particular scan they were telling me to get. Went to bad frustrated.
I did find a way to actually get a response, leave terrible feedback! I got an email; there was a comment that confused me that there had been an attempt to access using Firefox instead of Windows Vista. I've been using Firefox for over a year now.
Just for grins, when I started up the computer I looked around for anything referencing Windows. I clicked a Backup or Restore place and did a Restore. It was done by the time I was back from chores. I now have Facebook again. I don't care what worked, jus that I can get there and now I can update Sky's page.
Speaking of, no results yet. horselady, yes it will make the holiday not as much of a holiday.
