I love the comments! I'd love to practice this stuff just for something to do and to work with my horse on the ground more.

You should! All the tests are on their website, so even if yo don't want to enter the classes, you can still work through the tests! I love doing groundwork with Lucy but never know what to do, so the tests give me a starting point. The tests are all here: Tests

Thank you! There are so many, wow. I guess I'll need to put up letters or get cones and letter them or something. Some of the terms I'm not sure I fully understand but I'll figure it out.

Our ribbons for August finally arrived! Still haven't filmed September's entries...hopefully tomorrow hubby can meet me at the barn when he's done work to film me. nhg - have you tried any of the tests out? I also had to google some terms, especially for the Baroque test. Hope you had fun if you tried them!

Nice rosettes! Congratulations! I haven't yet. I have to look up where the letters should be and figure that out in the arena because there's none there. And I also found some of it confusing. I've hardly been out to the barn, either.

I kind of want to earn each place 1st - 10th to see what all the different colours are! LOL Here's the dressage arena layout for when you're ready

Ha, you're funny! At the club we used to be in that did local shows the lead line kids got to ask for whatever colour they wanted for their ribbons. I think it was fifth place that was pink so they usually chose that one.
Thank you SO much for looking that up for me!! You're the best! Our BO is away until October so I can't get permission to print off and laminate some letters but I'm sure I can figure out something temporary. Or just write down the patterns at home and take them with me. I wish I lived near you and we could practice together!

Oh, how'd the job interview go?

LOL I already had the arena letters pic saved on my computer cause I can NEVER remember where the letters go so I'm always having to look at the diagram. Interview went ok. Seems a bit too strict for my taste. Like, staff are expected to be at work 15 minutes before their shift starts. Umm...you gonna pay me for those 15 minutes? Or, cell phones must be either in your coat/purse or left in your car, can't have them on your desk/in a drawer. Which, ok, I get some people can go overboard with texting/personal calls, but deal with those people. Cause if my Winky is at the vet and I'm waiting for a call, you can be damn sure my phone is going to be on my desk. So, yeah, I'm not sure it would be a great fit. She said she'd let me know next week.

Well shadow, if they offer you the job, you can always say no. Do you know someone (or someone who knows someone) who works there you could talk to?

Yeah, can always say no, but would be more likely to say yes and keep looking on the side! Don't know anyone who works there, unfortunately. But we'll see what happens
