I am finally back on line. Sorry for the delay.
This is Emma
This is Sunny
This is Thunder
All three of these kittens have a new home. They were taken by the vet tech who works at my vets office. She fell in love with them when they went in for their shots and wanted three of them.
This Hanna (she is the one Honey picked out) She loves to curl up on a warm lap and take a nap.
And this is my darling, loveable, ornery, beautiful, playful, cuddle bug, silly little boy Morris. ( any guesses as to who couldn't part with him?)

Oh the are all so adorable! I don't think I could pick my favorite out of the lot. And they look like you have been socializing with them very well. How's Heidi doing? Any progress with her?

No we haven't made any progress with her, but I haven't really had much time to spend with her. I really think she will get better in time, but it will take time. She doesn't seem to be afraid or sad in any way. She just doesn't want any human contact. I guess time will tell.

I have really loved having the little babies, especially when it comes to sharing them and the bunnies, and the foal, with my grandkids. BUT!!! I have decided, next spring, if I loose my mind, and want to have some spring babies, I will get myself a couple of guppies. These babies have nearly wore me out.

It's not like you, intentionally, went out and bought a pregnant cat. This got tossed into your lap and you stepped up to the plate like the angel you are! btw, I never would have guessed that Morris was your favorite. All those adjectives in front of his name didn't give anything away. They are all adorable and you did a wonderful job! Is Heidi spayed yet? That should help so much! kisses

No I haven't gotten Heidi spayed yet. Last month was tags and taxes, plus horse, kitten and dog shots. I will have to get another paycheck so I can get her in. I really wanted to have that out of the way by now, but... I know my vet would let me make payments, but I have a new bill almost every month so I want to wait until I can just pay him. I promise I won't put this off. I think once she has more freedom, she will become a lot less aggressive.

Well since you are keeping her separated from any male cats, I don't think it is a problem for you to put it off for a month or two. We all certainly understand about vet bills piling up.

I would like to be in the will of anyone that has NEVER been overloaded with bills, they gotta be rich! You've been protecting Heidi beautifully and not given her a chance to get pregnant, no problem! I can't help but be curious how much getting rid of those hormones will help her anxieties. I feel horrible that you've had to go through having to deal with her when she was threatening you like that! I promise I'm not trying to be pushy, just concerned about your safety. kisses

I am sorry, I haven't been on the computer in such a long time. The kittens are all doing great. I talked to Anna, the adoptive mom to three of the kittens, and her three are doing great. The two I kept, Hanna and Morris, are also doing great.
This is a picture of my lap most evenings when I try to watch the news. They make it a bit difficult to use my computer.
I got the south pasture fenced and the horses have been enjoying the fresh grass. It was all weeds and trash when I bought my farm. It is finally grass. I have worked so hard on it I have almost named every blade of grass. It is only just over an acre of pasture, but it is mine and I am happy about it.
Heidi, the Mama cat, was spayed yesterday. It took me three weeks to trap her so I could take her to the vet. She is very unhappy with me right now.
I will try to get better about getting on the computer. I really am sorry I have been neglectful.
I will have to post this now. Hanna is walking across my keyboard and typing all sorts of things that I have to erase, and if I don't hurry up she will erase it all.
You just gotta love kittens.

They're getting so big! Thank you for sharing all this with us. You are so busy, and I know sometimes it can be difficult. Was Heidi still as aggressive as before? I was hoping she would settle down so you wouldn't get really hurt. Sooner or later there will be infection, the way she was going!

So good to hear from you again, DG! The kittens sure have grown, and they look very content! Your pasture looks wonderful! Your hard work paid off. Very nice!

How nice the horses and property are and the cats are so grown up. you did a real nice job. oh and 10 minutes a day to check in is not too much to ask so we do not worry about you.
