She sure is a looker. I wonder what that bump on her neck is though? I'm thinking a deer fly bite, Isis has a few like that right now, they do love palominos!

HAHA LD - I would if I had any spare money! Keeping my fingers crossed that no one will snatch her up since it's heading into fall and winter and she'd just be a mouth to feed.
MM - I noticed the bump too...I don't see it in any other pics, so maybe just a bug bite?

Good news and bad news. Bad news is, she's off the market. Good news is, she hasn't been sold, they've just decided to hang on to her for now as they think she has a lot of potential. So, still a chance she may go back on the market in the future, by which time I'll hopefully have a job and some savings. They've got I think2 mares in foal this year due next spring, so maybe when those foals come they will put Dixie back up for sale. Gotta admit, when I first saw the facebook status saying she was off the market, my heart dropped as I thought she'd been sold. So glad they are hanging on to her
