Hello! My name is Jennifer Im 28 years old, and I started riding when I was 3, I have had two horses in the past. However, Ive been horseless for the past 6 years or so and it really breaks my heart. Im married, and we have two children. Im currently pursuing a nursing degree, so Im hoping once Im done with school and my children are a bit older I can start riding again, and hopefully have a horse of my own one day. Happy to be here, and hoping it helps a bit with the horse withdrawls Ive been having.

Welcome to the group! Adventures2 I hope you enjoy it here.
I was horseless for 19 years while I raised my kids, so I can certainly understand what it feels like to be horseless. I hope we can help you get a bit of a horsey fix.

Welcome to our group. I was horseless for a long time. Then I got the chance to get one back in the early 80's. I haven't been without one since. Now I have to say no when I see one I like. wag finger I have 4 and 1 that is my SIL's. Now I have the whole pie! My farm, horses, 2 trailers and all the time in the world to ride if I want to. 8-)But that doesn't happen as much as I would like it too!!! :(Hope you enjoy our no drama, friendly gang...

Welcome from New York. and at some time i think most of us have had no horse in our life. and than we get them and can not stop collecting them. perhaps take lessons at a barn once a week. that way you can get your horse fix and still keep up with your riding. And enjoy the forum hope it helps a little with your lack of horse.

Welcome from Florida....
Was horseless for some time too while my son was little. Now he and my husband have horses and I none {working on it!!}
As Ming said, once you acquire one it seems number two, three and four are not far behind...
Look into donating some time at a local horse rescue.... Massachusetts has nice rescues in several areas...they can always use a loving set of extra hands...
Hope we can help fill the lonely ache you have....

Hello! This is Joan from Minnesota. I have all kinds of respect for nurses as they really are the ones who take care of us when we need them the most, so thank you for going in that direction, we need more folks like you!

Hi from Ontario.
I asked for a horse when I was six. I got my first horse 32 years later. The six year old girl in me, looked at MY horse and started to cry, whispering "I have a horse"
