I've been toying with the idea of getting a harness for my cats. I know they would like to go outside but they are indoor cats.

Anyway, I came across this on FB today and can't stop laughing. Of course people are complaining that it is animal cruelty but I think the cat is fine. Now, if this were on concrete then I would have a completely different reaction!

That was funny.

I think if you let them wear the harness awhile and let them get use to that then try taking them outside. I have never had a harness on my cats. I know some people that have and they were fine. Guess it's a learning thing for the cat..

Oh my gosh, that video is hysterical!!! I can't stop laughing! (Unfortunately I'm at work, so I'm sure my co-workers are wondering why I'm sitting in my office all alone laughing my head off! Oops! )

I did buy a harness for my inside kitties. They both sit at the window and act like they want to go outside in the worst way, so I figured if I put them in a harness, I could take them outside while still keeping them safe. Let's just say that things didn't go quite as planned. Neither of them has a problem having the harness put on, but neither of them seem to understand that they can still walk while wearing it! Splint is the worst. He will take a step and then just fall over and lay there! It's hilarious! I think I could probably drag him along just like they were doing with the cat in the video!
