He looks happy enough, left alone with other horses. I figure if folks aren't able to train a horse, then maybe its better they don't try, get frustrated and scared and train the horse in bad behaviors... maybe? He is beautiful but then I think all horses are beautiful. Hope someone kind takes him home.

Poor baby. He sure is handsome. I wonder how they expect the new owner to get him home? Round him up into a trailer like they do the mustangs?

He is a nice horse... Bet he would make a great husband or occasional rider horse...just has that "look" to him.
Interesting, blow the picture up {click on the horse itself}...do my eyes deceive me or do I see a shadow of a saddle pad sweat mark on that back...can't see his girth line for "compression" of his coat....
He is one of my kind of horses...bet he would make a great riding horse...just look at his build.."scopey" is one way I would describe his abilities unknown and supposedly untried.. I do wonder.
A little work, 30 days of training put on him... Spiffed up, cleaned up and clipped ....he goes from a $500 to a $5000 in a few weeks. That horse has so much potential...looks alone. Big, black and good bone....what a combination in a horse!!
I see $$ signs......easy $$$$ signs!!

I wonder how he's properly cared for if he's not been haltered for years? How do they do his feet or worm him or do his teeth? I think that if you're going to have a horse that you're not going to bother with you must keep it forever. No, not all horses have to be ridden or have jobs but it's a hell of an expensive pet unless you have your own place. They can live for thirty years, a person has to assume that at some point they may need to rehome the horse and nobody's going to want a big pasture pet like that. Even if someone wants to take him on as a project there's no way to know what kind of horse he is or if he's sound even. If they want to sell a pasture pet they should at least describe what he's like around other horses because they're basically selling him as a companion.
