Those were incredible!!! Some people's creativity is just amazing. And then the horses to put up with all that stuff on them and hanging off of them.
I saw this one the other day and thought it was so cute:

Those costumes are great!!! I love the giraffe horse, too, MM! Some people are so creative! (And some horses are so tolerant! )
I never did anything like that as a kid, but my younger brother and sister did a costume class in 4-H. My brother went dressed as an Indian (in full headdress), and my sister was dressed as a huge horse fly , but I don't think their horses wore costumes, they were just ridden as is. To this day, the picture of my sister riding her pony, Maude, while dressed as a big horse fly still cracks me up!!

Those are great! I love the cop/prisoner one! I've never done a costume class, but it looks fun.
LD - you need to post your airplane costume!

I didn't know there was such a thing as a costume class. Some people are so creative. I don't think I will try anything like that. I doubt I would be able to talk my horses into wearing a costume. They would rather not have to even wear their saddle.

Those are incredible. , i sold a mini to a lady and we have maintained contact. she dresses him up every year for halloween and goes trick or treating with him in the neighborhood on long island. yes a very congested residential place, one year he was a zebra, bumblebee. duck. all costumes were made , this year he is going as a caped crusaider. lol
