Show season is not over quite yet, but I just thought I would post a few pictures from some of our open shows this summer. I dont have many of Magic and me because I got hurt at my first show of the season and was out of commission from April until June or July. Ricky and Al did quite a few open shows, however. We still have futurities and breed shows in September and November.

Albert Ricky and Adelaide in Leadline at River City
River City was a 4 show series and we managed to get to all 4 shows and Ricky and Al won western division high points champion...this is the series where I broke my leg, so i didnt get to show in any of the shows
This was taken at my first show back from my injury..please pardon the casual attire and poor turnout..this was a very informal show series and nobody wears fancy show clothing..mostly its a speed event show with a few pleasure, trail and halter classes.
This is the show where Ricky rode Magic in the trail class and then took Albert in the class, he ended up winning first on Magic and second on Al...Magic got a score of 62 out of a possible 65 points
This is Danielle and Al at Middlebrook show...our favorite open show and its like 5 minutes from the farm.

Had to add this pic...Ricky and Al won the reserve championship at Middlebrook...look at Alberts tongue, he looks like he is expressing his displeasure as the judge is awarding the championship trophy and ribbon to the champion

Spottswood horse show..Alberts head is a little high, but the professional photographer sent this to us for free and i thought it was pretty
finally got a truck and trailer...most of our summer of showing was spent borrowing trucks and bumming rides to shows with friends..we had some rough times doing that
