it is so cute when my grandsons, now 11, and 13 were younger she used to get on her front knees, or lay down so they could reach every single spot! her "ermine" spots on her legs are all different sizes, her full brother/team mate had so close to the same leg markings. after her brother died she refused to team up with several other mules, and was destined for an auction. she was a "heavy weight" pulling mule, but she has fine bone structure, and pretty little legs. she is not a draft style, with heavier boned legs the type usually used for pulling. she loves ANY attention she can get, and gratefully sucks it all up  |

Awwww, that is so precious... and you say she gets down on her knees for the littler ones? That is beyond adorable. Aren't animals amazing, especially equines who have the potential to be, forgive me, dangerous with how fast they can move and unpredictable things, and yet with children, they can be tender and careful beyond imagination. We all lived in a charmed world when we live with animals, don't we?
I had a pencil drawing done of Gerald and Buster from a photo I took while they were just hanging out being bros. The artist is a husband of an HTer from way back, he did an amazing job to capture the feeling.

She is adorable, I love mules, her legs are gorgeous, very unusual, mules are so expensive here, I looked at a few before getting Dax! people kept telling me that mules are different to train too! takes a certain type of person but once broke are the most safe sane foot sure mounts out there, I love the pictures of the mule swinging the cougar round it's head!

Thank you everybody! yes theeventingmule, she is a fabulous, patient, loving, and gentle little lady. she crave's attention, too bad she isn't bigger , she would get more use here, but she get's lot's of snack's, and lovin!!
