I saw the recipe on FB and decided to try it. Well Lint loves them. Fairly easy to make. 4 cups of Bisquick 1 cup sour cream 1 cup of 7 Up 1 stick butter Melt butter and put in bottom of 9x13 pan Mix bisquick and sour cream together Add 7Up and mix. Take mixture and roll out or pat out to about 1 inch. Using flour to keep from sticking as you roll it. I used a glass to cut them Place in pan and at 450 till golden brown.. Doesn't take to long to ..

The box mix is just a convenience item, but some people like to make from scratch. flour shorting salt baking powder and milk to combine into a soft non sticky dough, roll out about 1/4 inch think and cut into circles. and . brush with melted butter until brown.

I'm going to buy some Bisquick today and try these as the biscuits for the sausage gravy. I tried the sausage gravy the other day but I did something wrong and it wasn't good. I have to try it again. My husband was a trooper and ate it anyway.

No taste. My husband chose the sausages and they couldn't be crumbled so there was hardly any sausage flavour in the pan. And I burned the butter so it tasted like burnt butter. I tried fixing it by adding the extra stuff but it wasn't very good. My husband is bad for always wanting lots of flavour in his food. I think it's from being a smoker for so long and ruining his taste buds. He's always putting sauces on things, it drives me nuts. I now have actual breakfast sausages and they look like they'll crumble properly so I'll give it another shot.

Success! I made the 7Up biscuits and the sausage gravy this morning. The biscuits were so nice, they're like a cloud, and yummy, too. The sausage gravy turned out so much better and had lots of flavour. I also made him hash browns with salsa in them. I had toast. I tried one biscuit and tasted the sausage gravy but I don't eat things like that.
