Not sure how many of you wear nail polish, I like to most of the time, I find it looks crap in a day, I wear gloves and they kinda wear it off when I'm working then on removal it chips, well I got some revlon colourstay gel envy and have to say it was 3 days before I saw a chip or any slight wearing, I did use 2 coats of colour and 1 top coat, I find just one colour leaves streaks especially with darker colours.
Anyway just a heads up kinda product review for anyone who's interested:)

I don't ware nail polish, only if I am going out. Especially when I am home I am working all the time and it simply wares out fast. I like all colors, black, red, pink, neon...depends on the occasion and clothes I am wearing.

I love nail polish and my nails do get long. if one breaks i cut them all back. i use a hardener than two top color coats than another clear coat and it stays for days. until they start to look yuky. i wear gloves all the time out side and the gloves do cause the nails to break over if i get the fingers to tight. so i look for elastic stretchy ones from home depot. expensive but worth it.

I keep mine short too, I don't know how people manage with long nails, especially those super long ones, how do they function daily!
I wish it was easier to do my right hand though, shaky waky!

Mine grow about 1/4 inch past the finger sometimes just for fun longer. and those really longs ones are perhaps acrylic that need lots of upkeep. can not imagine doing daily routine with the extreme long one.

I agree, I don't know how people with those long acrylic nails manage to get anything done. Speaking of that type of thing, what's with this new trend to wear false eyelashes? A few added to enhance your lashes look great but so many women look like Whos from Whoville.

Nail polish... think one of th elast times I did that was for my sons Christening....27 years ago. I have no time, nor actually like it on me in any color. No matter what I do it chips off...even had a pro do my nails {she is a friend" with their products...chip, chip, chip so off, off, off it went. As for anything else "false"...au natural is me all the way. It takes a lot for me to put on any make-up and forget the eye falsies.... Lip gloss/moisturizer only because it has sunscreen in it and out the door I go!!

sun I hate the chipping too. but avon is the best nail polish. it has a hardener in it and lasts for days. of course hl4l you would like just a clear so it does not look funny. and as for makeup i have used Merle Norman since i am 22 and my skin is not showing my age. (thank god or i would go for a lift) something in the base of merle norman that allows the skin to breath. does not turn color or streak off. i use a lady over 100 miles away and she mails me what i want. i love to primp and look colorful. or i would look sick with my olive complexion.

I only wear polish on my toesies, pink or pink, maybe pink if I'm feeling daring, but mostly pink Good thing there are a lot of pinks. I used to give myself manicures with files and orange sticks and the whole nine yards, but not any more, I'll clip 'em or cut 'em and lucky if it at all follows the curve of my finger. My nails grow fast so that's enough maintenance for me. As far as false stuff, I'm saving for implants... teeth, it'll probably be two years. In the meantime I'm totally self conscious. Oh well, what's new. I wouldn't have a face lift, surgery is for the birds as far as I'm concerned, but more power to you if you aren't a woosie. I have enough courage for all of the dental stuff I have to do so I'm used up on that front. I don't notice a lot of false eyelashes here but here and there, I'm thinking I don't hang out with that crowd but I do notice more choices of false eyelashes these past couple years in the cosmetic aisle than the preceding several years, must be the x generation.

Well this stuff lasted almost a week before I chipped one and I'm working using my hands, they still look nice and shiny:)
I had those fake eyelashes installed a few years back, cost about $400!.... They were cute and it was cool not having to use mascara but I noticed I had stinging eyes a lot, turned out I was sensitive to the glue used so I had to stop:(
Nothing else physically fake about me lol!

Its all simply decoration and play, nothing wrong with that. Too bad about the glue LD
