Haha I have 2 wooden wagon wheels that I'm going to paint black and put them up there. Eventually that barn is going to be barn red. That is my tack room and hay storage and mower barn. also have some yard shadow patterns that I'm going to make for the road side of it.

JR is a nice looking boy. Plus he has a big personality. He's a big lap dog that loves kisses, I would just lose it if something happened to him.

Eventually that barn is going to be barn red. That is my tack room and hay storage and mower barn. I would love a 'how to' tutorial when you go to paint your metal building. My friend, who is helping me convert my hay feeder to a run in shed, suggested painting the metal roof green to match my barn as part of the finished project. LOVE the hitching post! Gotta love a project!

Red it depends on what kind of metal it's made of. My barn is galvanized so I will have to prep it with a primer. Just do a search and there are plenty of tutorials on painting metal. If it's tin it's a lot easier. Galvanized has an oil coating on it. But this barn is old enough that I shouldn't have to prep to much.. I hope!!!

Very nice mingiedoodle. Id like a hitching post in front of our house because that's where all of my tack is kept. Saddles in the bedroom and headstalls, leads, brushes and all of that hanging from over the door hooks on the side of a curio cabinet and in buckets beside that. And this is approximately 6 years ago and we have one machinery shed, one garage and a house LOL
