Our first pig went to the butcher this morning. So in about 2 weeks I'll have my meat. Some of it will get smoked. The pig wasn't as big as she looked. She weighed in at 219lbs. She was the smallest of the group. The rest were boars. The next ones we send will hopefully be bigger(boars). The place we took them was very clean and the owner was very nice. CJ highly recommended him. Lint is on his way home. So things will be back to the norm. For a week anyways... Then he said he was going to go out for 2 weeks next time. Tony and I rode over to find a trail head for Devil's Backbone Wilderness area. We found a few trail heads but only one had a good area for parking either trailer. So we are going to go ride over there when Lint goes back out. We'll check it out and then we will go again I'm sure. Also saw my first coyote on the farm. It was after a rabbit. But the rabbit ran under the electric fence and the coyote stopped. Good thing! Horses would of had him... wag finger

I Wouldn't know. I was a kid the last time I was involved with pigs We raised them. My main job was blowing into the casings and putting them on the tube to fill for sausage.
