Ok saw this on FB. So figured I would try it. I will let you know how it is after coffee tonight. Yes I use the coffee gang as guinea pigs...
Strawberry Pretzel Jello Salad
2 cups of crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted butter
3 tbsp. sugar
Combine the 3 and press evenly in a 9x13 pan
@ 375 for 8 minutes. Let cool completely16oz of cream cheese - softened
1 1/2 cups of sugar
16 oz of cool whip
1 6oz box of strawberry Jello ( the big box)
2 cups boiling water
3 cups strawberries sliced
Combine cream cheese, sugar, and cool whip
Beat until smooth
Spread over pretzel crust
Make sure to get mixture tight against the sides of pan to prevent Jello from seeping through
Make the Jello and pour on top
Add strawberries
Put in fridge 4 hours or until Jello sets up.
Matter of fact I'm having some now...
