Coconut tree (can you see the baby coconuts?)  That little blob was a sea turtle that popped up about an hour out of Progresso (we actually had to disembark an older gentleman who was having health problems so we were stopped for about an hour). See how the water is not as blue as Cozumel? Progresso had more of a green water as it is on the Gulf of Mexico rather than the Caribbean Sea that Cozumel is on.  My room on the ship  |

happy to hear you had a good time and looking forward to th e photos. i spent a week in cancun and toured the ruins in tulum and chicanisa, and loved the food and people oh and the shopping is amazing. to bargain with the shopkeepers was a way to get great items for bargain prices.

HL, I always buy some sort of horse figure everywhere I go. I got a nice fish bone statue for $15 in Progresso. Will have to get a pic of it for you.

I lived in Puerto Rico for 2 yrs. A long time ago. And I used to love snorkeling. We had a reef we would go out to all the time We had a coconut tree in the back yard... Glad your having a great time!!!! |

A cruise sounds romantic and I hear that it doesn't feel like you're on the water at all, like a gigantic hotel! I'm so glad you're having fun and giving yourself treats like that, more power to you!  |

I brought home a huge silver horse that is about a foot long and 10 inches high and weighs 8 pounds, coming thru exray at customs was exciting to say the least. lol loved mexico and some of the people were just amazing.

HL, I barely had enough time to run through the shops at Cozumel after my tour. There was a beautiful horse head statue and a whole body zebra statue - both were incredibly beautiful, looking like silver (whether they were or not, I'm not sure) but I didn't have enough money with me and no time to get some off the ship. They were going to give me a great deal on it too. Oh well...  - IMO cruises are the best vacation you can go on! I think this was #6 for me. |

The closest thing to a cruise for me was one afternoon visiting some of the Greek Islands. Two memories stand out: how the water was beautiful blue and clear and riding a donkey. I'm good :-)
Happy you had a blast its fun to hear about it.

- IMO cruises are the best vacation you can go on! I think this was #6 for me.
