A friend of mine posted this aerial shot of where I grew up. This shot is about 5 miles from where our house was. I spent a many summers here. The tip of the shot is were a Confederate Prison of war camp was. The shore line is the Chesapeake Bay. This is the beach line that I rode the horses on. There is a state park there now. It's called Point Lookout. Makes me home sick....

No wonder you are home sick..land sick and terrain sick.
Missouri has its own beauty, but can't compare with seaside elegance and that area is especially diverse and pretty!!
Get the negative {SD card} and have a poster size print made up by Walmart/Sams or someplace, the frame it and hang it on the wall in the house...

What a beautiful area. my DH used to go there all the time when he was growing up in silver spring md. that would make a great poster for the wall like hl4l suggested.
