I am so happy that I got home today. I just put on my work clothes and right away went to horses. Did not even eat :D :D So I tought to have some fun. Videos are cut into pieces because it would be to long to upload if I left it as one. I enjoyed the videos! I couldn't help but chuckle at little Lisa running and bucking around. She's a real cutie!
By the way, I'm totally jealous at how easy you made it look getting up on your mare bareback. I've always got to climb up on something and then climb over onto my horse. It's not pretty!

We put it on every foal we have. I dont know why, it is cute I guess. And foals seemed to be less noise sensitive when they get use to bell ringing all the time.

Hah... Since I was 11 I am jumping on horses and trying to be a little indian :-) I grew up watching american western movies, and dreamed that I will too one day run so fast bareback on a horse like those indians on their colorfull ponies :-D

How cute that little Lisa is just so full of her self and does not want you up on her mom. lol
I think the bell is a great idea, not only for the noise but for her mom to know where she is all the time.
ahh to be that thin and young and agile. perhaps vaulting is what you might try to do with the mare.

I loved that tinkly bell and twinkle toes Lisa  , what an adorable name for a little filly. When I was young I had a mare, Belita, who let me use her as a jungle gym; those were the days... I ride bareback in the winter because of my boots but also because its warmer for me and I gotta admit, lugging a heavy saddle the long long way to the horses in  is NOT my idea of a good time. Your mare Gaetana seems like the most well behaved and wonderful horse and most beautiful too. You can tell she loves you very much  |
