Have you ever been there Lip? np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/en/ Wow!...its stunning, I could almost see a herd of unicorns drinking under the waterfall, stunning:)

Beeing there in person is even more mesmerising. I like it especially in the winter.

Are those first few pictures of Dubrovnik? Watched another travel show where they went there (as well as to Montenegro and Bosnia). It taught me about the differences between the Croats, Serbs and Bosniaks (sorry about the spelling).

They said it was basically a religious difference. Croats are Roman Catholic, Serbs are Orthodox Christian and Bosniaks are Muslims.
I'm sure there is much more to it than just a religious difference. It was neat seeing all the different churches/mosques. I also found it interesting to see the damage done by the war by looking at the roofs of the buildings and seeing how much more is new roof compared to the old roofs. It really gives you a good idea of the damage that was done.

Thank you for shering this. I am glad they did not showed only pretty things. But also the reality.
