Baranja is very small, so yes I have been to all of the places that there are in that region. It is beautiful. My by and I are celebrating our 6 year of being together in Sunday so O will take pictures of our hill where his "pleasures home" is. (I don't know a different word for it) I hope the weather will be nice so we can have a barbecue at least. Just two of us. :-)

Maybe like a vacation home? A place to go when you have a few days off, to relax, and spend time doing only the things you like. I like the name pleasures home.  |

I meant to spell pleasure home, but s escaped me :-) I thought we should go with horses, but it is to wet and to steep.

Oh no, it is not THAT steep. There is a trail so we can go with some kind oh transportetion. But it is raining non stop. I will be so sad if we cant go :-(

When I was watching the movie I thought it looked similar but on a much larger scale than places here in MN. Then I looked up the geomorphology or what caused the land to look like that and your country has a glacial history like MN. But because your country is on a sea and MN is inland but had lakes, it all made sense. The expansiveness is gorgeous, I'm supposing that video was in a nature preserve? Of course I smiled in appreciation of the wetlands I appreciate your feelings about not being able to be where it is so amazing and distant for the day-to-day, shedding tension and worries and letting go of all that for a bit, a true vacation. Hope it works out for you  and of course remember pictures |

Nop, Rain stopped us. But we did have a nice day together, he cooked me a meal, and pampered me all day :) I love him so much , he always makes me feel special and loved. I could never imagine that it would be possible to love someone more as time passes and we are longer together. I guess I found myself a soul-mate :) hugs- it is in a nature preserve. Baranja is mostly low-lying region ( the highest peak is Kamenjak it has has 243 yards , on Bansko hill(my place where I live -Popovac is below that hill ) ) 63 % of Baranja is "wet". We have here a very special national park, it is called Kopački rit. Beautiful beyond your mind. If you like those kind of thing like me :) Kopački rit ![]()     |

Sounds like you had a wonderful day even if the rain stopped your original plans. Yep, he sounds like a "keeper" for sure.
Such beautiful places. I especially like seeing the birds. I have the same Great Blue Herons on my pond!

He is a keeper. Sometimes is frustrating that he is so perfect to me, and I can be real pain in the but.
I love all the different birds and wild life that is here. Especially when I see rabbit's casually eating and moving their big ears. Makes me appreciate the nature even more.
