Cow is up for sale I am afraid to put him on craigslist because I see people wanting to buy horses to take to slaughter . So I am still working with him when I can .Hopefully I can have a saddle on him before the end of the summer . Or have him sold by then , my daughter asked if a horse rescue would take him which I don't know but I will find on and ask .

Such a shame , you have put so much time into him. and most rescues are full or not taking anymore.
and yes , evil people will come and look and say "i will take him" even with kids to make it look legit. and than take him to auction for food. that is what they do. get refrences of vet and farrier and grain dealer , and have them checked out before letting him go.
nothing guarantees the safety of a horse and i have sold many and never worried about them, times have changed.
hope he sell for you and perhaps contact 4-h group or horse clubs in your area.
