She went to the vet yesterday to get spayed. She isn't handling it very well. She stayed in the crate last night. She finally came out this morning and is still not her self. Hasn't eaten anything yet. She has drank water though. Poor thing thought she was going for a truck ride and came home a different dog. Maybe as the days go on she will start feeling better. Feel bad for her.. But she'll be back to her old self soon.. Squeak is doing really good now since he got fixed. He even got to spend the night in the big bed...No accidents in a few days. So I think he is finallt coming around too...

Yeah, I bet she thinks that was a dirty trick! Poor little gal, I'm sure she'll get herself sorted out soon.

Poor molly , she sounds like my Molly the corgi that i rescued about 9 years ago. she came here with stitches from her spaying overgrown with skin. my vet had a fit. so of course he caused her pain and molly just could not cope. she was abused and she still has issues with loud noises and does not like to have her hind end touched at all. hopefully your molly will come around. perhaps some pain meds. and of course some treats. just let her rest . smileys-dogs-642861

Poor girl. Keep in mind that it's a major surgery, and she can't be feeling all that comfortable. Sometimes it just takes a bit longer for them to spring back. Hope she feels better soon!

Reaction to general anesthesia...
She will feel better in a few days.
Keep her quiet for a few days although she is doing that herself so she not "pop" her inside stitches nor her exterior ones. Watch her belly for any uneven swelling around the incision site if she doesn't perk up in a day...call the vet and take her back for a look-see that all is well... Peace of mind for our critters well-being...priceless. dog smileys-dogs-171634

She could have been over drugged, and thus feels worse than she should. so just let her rest and make sure she is eating and drinking. but at least she is on the road to recovery. smileys-dogs-642861

It's always scary when they don't bounce back from the surgery as quickly as we expect them to. I'm glad she's doing better today, though. Before you know it she'll be ready to run around and play again.
