I downloaded a app for trail riding. It tracks your ride time, speed, top speed, energy, and distance. Even has my stable so I can track each horse I ride. I can even get the ride details of start to finish, location, weather, ground conditions and even calories burned.. Can't wait to try it.. www.equitrackapp.com

I have an android. and i will check into it. i am afraid to figure out the miles i walk in a day around this farm. and i use a golf cart also. . sounds like a fun thing to have especially trail riding.

i had a "pedometer" when i worked on a pig farm, and was amazed to find out between stepping up, down, and walking around i was moving x- amount of steps a day, and it was totaling 8-12 miles a day! what an eye opener for riding, or for just walking around the "home front" for an average day of work on the farm.
