I just joined and am trying to navigate the new 'digs'. Here's some back story. Wind Lake Eq was our farm when we were operating full blast with boarding, breeding, and lessons. My daughter lost interest and we cut back on all business and the farm became private again. I took some time out from classroom teaching to help develop a NH charter school centered on equine studies. Now I am back half time in the classroom and trying to be retired. Private life at the farm is still moving right along. My young boarder from long ago stayed with me with 2 horses. I recently welcomed a friend that needed space for her 6 horses until she can get settled again. With my 5 horses we are a full house again. Sometimes fun and always busy. Right now trying to get rid of the and COLD.

My next job is get to photobucket and bring over the herd. I have 4 Arabs and a PMU(when they were able to come out of Canada). I still ride pretty actively... even for an old lady as the kids at the farm say. Our farm is on the snowmobile trail system of NH so we have great trail access. From H/J showing still do the little stuff....and now I ride senior Gymkhana wow what a switch huh?

I have had up to 15 arabians with 2 arabian stallions. now we have 3 pure arabs and several part arabs. the rest of the group is a mixture read my signature . that is what i do. retirement horses. photobucket is free and easy to use. if you have trouble just let me know. and mingiz and a couple of others use smug mug but there is a charge for that.
but with add attachment on each post site you can upload from your documents directly, the photos will be small but viewable.

Welcome to the group..I'm also an older rider..But I keep on going..Right now I have 4 Missouri Foxtrotters,1 walking horse & a pony. Originally from Maryland. But due to the high cost of living and being retired. We are now in the Ozarks of Missouri. Hope that you will enjoy our no drama group. If you need help with photobucket or if you decide on Smugmug just let me know.

Hi and welcome from central Kansas. Another older rider here, but horses are good no matter how old you are.

HI and WELCOME from Sunny Florida!!
A older rider here too...loving the freedom of doing what I want when I want and how I want.
You will like this place. A adult environment without drama. We all love our animals and have the ability to ask, give and receive words of wisdom and and information shared.
Have fun and enjoy being here....
Pictures...if I can get pictures to post...so can you. Can't wait to see the herd.

Hello and welcome. I wish I could figure out how to post pics. I did once but I don't know what I did right and can't seem to do it again, even from Photobucket.
