It is that time of year when my horses are rolling and getting muddy, I was looking thru some photos to see which ones to post on here in the memory section and lo and behold i said let us show horses, dogs. people anything with mud. yuk rain This is Princess Neufall registered arabian mare that i have used to teach hundreds of people to ride. she is now retired at 27 years old. wow i own her 21 years already. Oh My. jumping-horse

I feel your pain. Mud season has definitely arrived here, and my girls both love a good mud bath. Yuck!!

I have one of them too. His name is Reno. I swear he was a pig in his previous life...I think he knows when we're getting ready to ride. This is him one day before I wanted to ride...

I think they are adorable with their special "coat"...just very glad I am not doing the brushing and sneezing with that brushing... smileys-sad-593832

I do not brush and get covered in all that dust either. so i leave them out in the rain and than bring them inside to dry. and if they are still muddy and it is not going to rain for a while. i hose them off.

One thing about Zippy, he has a very fine coat, so he doesn't get that muddy. Red, on the hand, when he had the Cushings, shedding season was all year long,.., Crazy shedding! Grooming him was a REAL workout
