We got the horses tied up in the barn at feeding time. Starting to look like a barn.

It has a long way to go. But feeding them in flat pails in the field wasn't fun. JR wants to flip his bowl then run the next one off.So some were getting more than others. So I decided to at least hang buckets and tied them up and it will save on feed and ruckus. The barn is a shell. We put the plywood up and still have more to put up .Then we will get post in the ground and start stalls. We will have 4 stalls down the back and 2 stalls on the ends butted up to the corner stalls. It's just a matter of the money and time to get it done.

Good idea, i never like feed pans on the ground and with a group of horses the search for the pan at feed time was a pita and if i collected them before hand and passed them out with food. than i was in the middle of a fight. so the buckets got tied to the fence and i walked up the fence with a wheel barrow and the grain buckets already to be dumped into their buckets. now with so many horses everyone gets a room with dinner service.
you will get it done, just takes time. you are not there a year yet and you have done so much already. toast
