Our Paint mare, Zena, is a huge goof! I've never met a horse with as much personality as she has. She loves attention, loves to give kisses, and loves to play with EVERYTHING!  Here are some pictures of her showing off her personality. 
She found a big stick in the pasture and decided it would make a great toy! 
She and Sis decided that a cat in a bucket was a fun toy to play with... 
And Zena also enjoyed playing with the empty bucket! 
A plastic chair is definitely worth playing with 
Giving my hubby a big, sloppy kiss! 
We finally figured out why the water in the trough was always dirty... apparently Zena likes to soak her feet! 
More water please! 
While I was in the roundpen working with Sis, Zena decided to steal my tarp! 
And then of course there is the Black Stallion side of her personality! 
She's a total goofball, and she definitely keeps life interesting!

She's a beautiful horse, I love how she's mostly black but has the white in bits here and there and white legs. And what a ham!!

She does seem to have that playful imp inside of her always wanting to be busy.
My arabian stallion used to fetch his stick like a dog. and he was near my house in his pen and run in. one night i heard him screaming and it meant i had to get up and see what he was upset about. for him to scream it was important. i get dressed , go outside, and ask him what was wrong. and he ran to the other side of the pen , yup just like a dog wanting me follow,well his stick was outside the pen. as soon as i gave him the stick he was happy.
love the playfulness, means they are happy. swing

That's a cute story, horselady! He sounds like quite a character!

Thanks, Mingiz. She loves to rear up like that anytime she's feeling good and having fun. I tried for years to get pictures of it, but was never quite fast enough until this past year. I got myself a new digital camera and it's faster than my old camera, so I've finally been able to get some really great action shots with it. She puts on quite a show!
