My boyfriend has a six-year stallion whose testicles have not yet come out. He has become very aggressive towards other horses, so much that he can no longer be ridden in the company of other horses. We were told that operation is very risky since we don't have well developed clinics for that kinde of procedure, and that we should take him in another country. But that would be very expensive and cost money that we don't have. I hurde about some hormonal injections that reduce testosterone level. Does anyone know anything about that?

cant help you with any medications, but i bet there is something available. i have heard of, and know stallions with retained testicles 1, or both, and have heard they can be messed up hormonally (sp) and become aggressive, unpredictable, and behave worse than most stallions. it is genetic, so he should not be bred, but i am sure you already know that

He cant produce sperms since his both testicals are inside his body so temperature is to big for sperms to develope.

Sorry to hear that happening to one of your horses. and i can not help. perhaps the new member who is a vet can offer some advice I wonder if there is a veterinary college somewhere within traveling distance than can take him I know how dangerous they can be, i bought a gelding, who was just gelded and he would have fits of rage. to the point that he was dangerous. i eventually found out he was cut, but had one testicle retained. i gave him away to a person that only had him in their yard and no mares in sight.

He is very agressive. I have 3 stallions and neither of them are as him. My stallions are very well manered, and can be around other horses.
