I thought I would do a little "Meet the Horses" thread to introduce everyone to my girls. 
First we have Zena. She is a 10 year old APHA registered black and white Tobiano Paint mare. We bought her as a 3 year old in 2006. She is 15.3 - 16h and is the biggest goofy "lap dog" you could ever hope to meet! She's a big sweetheart who loves to give kisses and play with anything she can get her mouth on.  We bought her to be my hubby's horse, but he hurt his back at work and stopped riding her several years ago, so after having a trainer work with her this past year to get her going under saddle again, I have started riding her. Hubby says he'll probably start riding again now, but I plan to continue to ride her also.
Next we have Sis. She is a POA (Pony of the Americas) mare. She is approximately 16 years old, but she was a rescue with no papers, so the best we can do is guess her age. We bought her in 2010. She is 14.1h and is much more shy and reserved than Zena, but she has come a long way from the scared little girl she was when we first got her. She is my primary riding horse. She is also the horse that healed the huge hole in my heart after the loss of my OTTB, Roxy, to colic in 2008.
I love both of my girls more than life itself and would do anything for them, as I know they would for me! balloons" text="heart balloons" />

Thank you. They do make me so happy! If I'm having a bad day, all I need to do is go out and spend time with them and before you know it I'm happy again.  They are my sanity in an insane world.

Terry, I love the last picture of you with Sis and Zena. Thank you. I was just out spending some time with them and hubby was snapping some pictures. I really like how that one turned out, too. As usual, though, Zena was licking me! She's so silly!
