Poor thing was coming up the steps yesterday and slipped on them because they were icy, and it pulled her nail back. So she is resting in her bed. I got it cleaned up enough to see where all the blood was coming from. I put some Wonder dust on it to stop the bleeding. I can see some swelling in her toe. So I'm going to soak it in epsom salt and then get some Ichthammol salve and put it on the toe and wrap her foot.. That will draw anything out of it.. Her first real boo boo and she looks so pitifull...I had to get her some pupperoni treats..She perked up then....

Me too Terry. The only thing she does is turns stiff... Now if it was Molly the next county would hear her...She is terrible when I cut her nails. I have never quicked her but some where along the line someone was very rough with her. Lint has to get a death grip on her and we have to wrap her up in a towel cause she gets so scared she pees all over us... She has gotten a lot better with things but some I guess she had flash backs...

Poor little sweet pea. that must hurt and thankfully she allows you to medicate. my 10 pound chorkie pulled her dew claw and she would not let me even look at it. she is a woose.

She hates to have anyone mess with her feet at all - don't touch them, don't brush them, don't try to trim the fur, and for heavens sake, never ever try to trim her nails!! She is sure you're trying to kill her! She squirms, tugs her feet away, whines, cries and yelps! It's awful!
