I think the vet will have an easier time trying to place him. I will put word out to all my friends but I don't think any are looking for a new dog unfortunately.

Any update on this little dog. perhaps someone members of the forum that live near the vet could go get him . hope he finds a great home.

I just called...he's still there. Apparently another one of their clients has a friend with doxies who might be interested and also one of the girls who works there brought him home one night so it sounds like he will get adopted out soon. They still need to neuter him and give him his shots first though.
I was thinking of dropping off a small check (~$50) to help with his expenses - does that seem like a good idea?

I haven't called any more. I hope he found a nice home too. It sounds like they had two good prospects last time I called.
