venting venting i'm more than annoyed things should be kept secret and not be brought up. hearts get heavy with all the questions

Pros and cons for this... A terrible debate, finger pointed and accusations can take place... the I would still think of my parent as one who raised me, spent their time with me and supported me in my hopes and dreams, along with my failures.
I have friends who were adopted and told when they could understand what it meant to be so wanted................ The only questions I would want answered would be medical, but today with so much known from DNA not sure that "background" is needed anymore either.
I offer to anyone caught in the dilemma.... I see both sides but am not part of it. Knowing both my parents were my parents and DNA tests I've had done for other reasons prove that.

I agree that there are pros. BUT what if siblings are not full blood siblings and there is one person that is a sibling that no one knew about.
a father who is not the father after everyone thought they were father and son? finding out your not related to anyone that you thought was a family sure who raised you and loved you BUT the secret should remain. thats my opinion
