SOMEONE POSTED ON FB THAT THEIR MINI HORSE HAD THE POPS BAD. AND THE VET SAID NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT. A VET TEC TOOK THE SAMPLE TO HER LAB AND IT CAME BACK WITH COCCIDIA IM OPENTING THIS UP FOR DISCUSSION DO YOU LEAVE A HORSE WITH DIARIHHA AND AY IT IS NOT A PROBLEM OR SOLVE IT

I don't.... Something is off to allow the fauna & flora of the gut to go out of balance.
Coccidia is one of a class of parasites. Left untreated....well, would you leave that untreated in your dog, yourself? Then why in your horse would you do that............
Identification of what parasite specific needs done so the correct treatment can be started. Coccidia is not common, but it is also not unheard of in horses/ponies... Indeed it needs treated for the animal to thrive as diarrhea as is often causes steals the body of being able to get the nutrients from the foods fed and eaten.

hl4l thats my thought treat it the way it is supposed to be. to have it in horses or dogs is unhealthy and not normal.
