Today was a sad day.. like loosing her dad all over again.. Bombay my arabian stallion was never sick.. than in one day i had to have him put down . from a tumor and impaction no chance for survival of the surgery..
Today was his daughters turn.. she was a bit colicy acting last week than it passed.. she was eating and walking around buy lying down more.. did not think of it.. much as she was just sitting there not rolling in pain.
This morning she was really in pain.. i called the vet and my son and my helper and her husband.. they all arrived helped her up got her some pain meds and with the exam the vet found impaction so bad it was moving into the wrong place.. up over towards her pelvic area.. not good. made the decision to have her put down.
sad.. Now her best friend Encore of 17 years will be without her.. i really need to keep a watchful eye on him.. and hope he continues to be with the others in the tiny herd..
