My son had baby pheasants. and they are in two coops outside.. about 8-weeks old.. some are dying with swollen butts and are red.. he goes to tractor supply to buy deneguard. or tetrycycline and they tell him any antibotic has to have a vet prescription 
imagine.. that.. people are buying the antibiotics and using it on themselves.. now people with animals have to spend more with a vet visit just to get what we should be able to buy for our animals.
does anyone know why these birds are sick like this.. he is loosing about 4-6 a day.. ??
