I weaned blind Star, Misty and Prince on the 20th. I could not trust Misty and Prince to stay back of the house any more. They both were staying away from their mothers for longer timed before going back to nurse. It was cute that ever time I started a tractor they would come and follow me around. they were like a couple of dogs checking out what ever I was doing. When I opened up the back door they would come into the garage and want into the house as well. I was seeing tracks toward the road in front of the house farther out in front of the house. All three are in a pen made of hog panels now. Blind Star still didn't know what to thing about them last evening when I set with them to feed. All three did lay together in the shelter earlier. I wish I could take more pictures but can't handle a camera and tend to chores and do not have the energy to slip out with it between chores in this weather. I bought a new body camera but can not turn it off and on with my crippled left hand while holding it with my right hand. Dixie has only been out of the house once since the 16th of December which was Sunday afternoon.
I think all of my mares are open except one and not real sure of her.

They are your puppy dogs.. and will continue to be your pals.. hopefully you can find homes for them they are so cute. of course come spring keeping them confined is best .. do not want them going up the road.. once they learn that there is no keeping them in.. trust me.. know that well. stay warm and do the best you can.
