Yes we have a herd now. Now we really have to get on a roll with the fencing. Next purchase will be a auger...We are going to use cedar post in the back sections. We have plenty on the farm we can cut and use. The field fence will be the expensive part of it all.. I won't use barb wire or electric for this. At least we have a colorful herd. a black/white, sorrel/white, 2 shades of greys, a pal, and a dark pal..We may pick up Libby this weekend if the weather is good. Suppose to be in the 50 range.. So when they all get together I'm sure there will be a few good pics coming...

another plus, he already knows what a carriage, or buggy is. we drive 2 of ours, and have had quite a few horses panic when they see us, causing all sorts of excitement!

That thought never crossed my mind. He is my SIL's horse. He seems laid back...My main trail rider is a dud...nothing bothers him.. My other 2 are basically the same. But I always test them just to see what their reactions would be...If they spook or look at something that they are avoiding. I make them face it then touch it..I always have believed that the more you expose them to the better off you are....Can't wait to see yours....

I can't wait to see pictures of your whole herd together once you've been able to get everyone home!
