A nice couple just drove out the drive with Dollie. After rocking her as a new born foal and then rocking her new born foal Prancer I am asking why I sold her. The good part is she is not going all that far away and is the Aunt of the wife of one of my Grandsons. They told me that my one Great Grand Daughter was excited that they were buying her. Dollie had never been in a trailer but she has always trusted me. It was a higher livestock trailer and I led her up to the trailer, got in and talked to the new owners while holding tight and every little bit ask her to get in. After a couple minutes Dollie hopped in with me. When I got out she wanted out with me though. I'll miss her for sure.

I know the feeling all to well. we get them to trust us and than we sell them and they just whinney while going out the driveway. and i am n tears , yes i know they are going to make someone happy, but my heart just breaks a little more,, even after holding them. and brushing them. and hugging them. they trust me and will do anything for me.. like yours follow into a trailer going away. we can not keep them all. we are not getting younger, and all the work and time. and winter and ice. just drains our emotions. know that she will be loved and have love. always.
