With everyone scrambling to cook and get ready for the big day how about sharing that one receipe or suggestion to help ease the stress.. mine is cook what you know.. and cook foods a head of time.. prep. and set the table. and on the big day just reheat.. of course that turkey takes center stage and the deserts.. and remember to just say one prayer. Amen

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! No cooking for me tomorrow. I ordered a full Thanksgiving meal to bring to my Mom's house. (It's hard to cook there these days). Cracker Barrel puts out quite the meal, you pick it up hot, and there you go, all done. That's my tip. I'm cooking for my crew Saturday.

Had a nice meal with my cousins. Funny Val - except for the turkey, she got all the sides from Cracker Barrel! Except she forgot the hashbrown casserole!

I had a nice meal with my mama, along with my son and his family who also came. Cracker Barrel came through with a nice meal. A little salty for my taste, but everyone was happy with it, and clean up was a breeze.
This year I am thankful for medical people. So thankful for the doctors., surgeons, and nurses who have saved my grandson and my mother (twice) this year.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving, I'm still feeling full from yesterday. Looks like I'll be enjoying leftovers for a couple days, spent two days cooking only to finish eating in less than 30 minutes....funny how that works isn't it?
