Came to post a cute story and found sadness. Losing our babies is so very hard. Now I really hope my story can bring on some smiles. Tabitha's favorite toy use to be a doll. Mostly just carries around making a sound that reminds me of a mommy carrying babies. Now she loves my fuzzy winter bedroom slippers, generally find them on my bed or the stairs. Day before yesterday I woke up to the feeling of a kitty against my tummy, Tabitha often sleeps like that. When I reached down to pet her, I ended up raising my head and looking, at the slipper pressed against my tummy. The only thing I can figure is that Tabs needed to get up, but didn't want me to be alone. I get up and tend to chores before straightening out my bed. This am I found this. She doesn't play with the bear nearly as much as the slippers.

Aw, that's sweet. Sophie used to steal my smaller stuffed animals on the chair in my room and I would find them all over the house. I couldn't figure out what was happening when I came home and found the first one downstairs in the living room.
