I use the cinammon rolls that are refrigerated. flatten each one and put into a pie pan. i saute apples with butter until just wilted and add that to the crust. and until done. all brown and bubbly. 375 oven for about 25 minutes . when cool add the icing that comes with the rolls and enjoy with ice cream. easy as one, two, three.

So do you mix the apples into the crust? Or just place on top? And was is a wilted apple.. Ya can tell I'm a box kind a cook...

The flattened rolls act like the crust, and a wilted apple is an apple that has been cooked until just starting to get soft. because on the top of the flattened rolls the crust will cook first and get hard and the apples are still firm. it will look like an apple pie with no top crust.
and the only way to become a out of the box cook is to just throw things together . lol campfire

I also sprinkled some cinnamon/sugar on top of the apples....Not bad.....

Good for Lint, he knows a great treat when he tastes it. lol i was thinking about putting either raisins or dry cranberries or perhaps mixing the apples with pears next time of course still use sugar and cinnamon with the fruit. love testing out new combinations of foods together.
