Well it was cold and windy here today so I didn't want to stand out in it. I put Mel out in her area this morning. She and the other 3 were ok. She acts like she wants to be with them, but I don't trust them. I know they will run her.. She was fine out there. No issues at all..
So we brought her in early and gave her a grooming. She loves it.. Tony sat next to the stall and scratched on her and she had the lip going and was leaning into it. So after that I said let's put her in the back of the LQ shut the door and when Billie gets home from school I will tell her to go get something out of it for me. Tony (step dad ) was in trailer with his camcorder to catch her as she opened the door. Well I can't get it to down load...But when she opened the door she jumped back. It startled her for a nano sec. I said what is that , she said a little horse, I said it's your little horse...and you have to name it. So she decided on Mel. Which is her dad's sister..so dog is Mel now. She was all happy... So here is the link to the gallery. I took some and Jessi took the ones when she opened the door. Of course I had to throw her up on her. She rode her into the barn and put her in her stall and gave her dinner.. Then she runs up to Lint and said. Well I can feed her before I go to school. Lint told her that he would do it so she doesn't get dirty and he will put her out in the field. Then when she gets home from school she can go out and get her for evening feeding.
So I'm sure that she will be telling all her friends at school tomorrow...Now to get her a saddle, helmet and bridle.
