Prince still has hair that's a good half inch long all over. He's still shedding his winter coat but not the long, thick stuff, that's all gone. He's not like a Cushing's horse and they've been wormed twice since the spring. So his coat isn't fine and sleek, it's a bit fuzzy and doesn't lie nicely. He's not shiny, either. He still is losing a fair amount of hair and we've had an early spring so it's been warm for some time. He's happy and healthy, he just doesn't look nice and slick. He's eighteen this year so he's not that old but I wonder if it could be an old horse thing. Or if he's missing out on some minerals. I tried searching it but got all kinds of things that don't match with his situation like Cushings. He does get a super thick winter coat with two inch long hair but that's all gone. He kind of looks like they do after a rain when they dry all fuzzy. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!
