Thought I would post a list of what I am needing/wanting to buy in case any of you might have something you want to sell.
English breastplate - prefer elastic over leather and need it to slip around the girth (not just clip to it), horse size possibly oversize Black stirrup leathers, 60" for the dressage saddle (but may consider 54") Stirrups (for the dressage saddle) - don't need to be fancy, probably at least 4 3/4" 50" or 52" leather girths, prefer the ones without fleece Breeches, even just schooling quality - Size large or about a 30/32, long length is good but not necessary English spurs and/or straps - just really need nubs, nothing too long. I actually have a single spur if you have a single one missing it's match. I can't imagine where the other one went to (probably with all the socks that disappear).
If you have anything else laying around that you think I might be interested in, please let me know (especially if it's purple)! Like all of you, I am quite the tack hoarder! mini-graphics-smileys-824246

Are you searching for... www.statelinetack.com/item/hdr-pro-heart-shaped-elastic-breastplate/E003024/ OR... www.statelinetack.com/item/hdr-pro-5-point-elastic-breastplate/E003025/
Always choices, choices and more choices....
I have also seen what appears more "westernish" in design of a straight strap across the chest and attaches only at the girth, no strap between the chest/legs and no way to attach a martingale of any design... I don't think it had a wither strap to either...

That three point you linked is actually in my "cart" as we speak! A 5 point would be great but they are much more expensive and I tried a three point in yesterday's lesson and it did a good job so I think I will just stick with that (and spend that extra money on something else!).

MM.... might I suggest the breastplates you have in your bucket is fully adjustable if purchasing...
Make sure the straps that go from chest to wither have a buckle in them for adjusting fit. {lies along the shoulder arc} The straps that attack to the dees or girth can adjust some, but for a really good fit....the other ones need to adjust too. {also then makes it usable on different shaped horses..}
This may sound crazy but measure those straps length if you are going to be purchasing a new breastplate and buy one that goes larger and smaller. I found a "horse" size in some brands was HUGE, and in other brands fit more like a cob size...
I think we are all "Tack hoarders".... I am too....

Can you send pics of the breeches? What size brown girths? I know I need a black one as well but Catherine has a black one I can use for shows for now, I need something I can use everyday.
If you want - send me your prices through PM.
Oh, I'm also needing a stock tie or "rat catcher" (I think they are called choker collars now). I have a few stock pins but my new show shirt did not come with a collar/tie.
hl4l - Thanks for the advice. I've seen in reviews where some collars fit right and others are large/small. I will try to figure out what brand my friend has - I borrowed her's the other day and it fit just fine.

Right now I ride in a 52" girth with elastic on one side. I think if it had the double elastic, I would probably need a 50".

It's fine. I'm not in a huge hurry to buy these things.
There is a consignment sale this weekend at the one local tack shop, so I plan to stop by there Friday afternoon on the way to the barn. Hopefully they will have some things I need at good prices.
