I have this saddle in my tack room just collecting dust... someone asked for one the size this one is. and i took a photo and posted it on fb.. she has not gotten back to me. apparently it is to above her budget. While i was out, i stopped in my local tack shop grain dealer to buy grain and the owner who knows me for about 25 years asked about the saddle and how much i wanted for it. I have it listed for $400 with pad. breastplate and cinch and bridle with bit. he offered me $300. for just the saddle.... i have no use for such a heavy saddle that i can not lift off the saddle rack let alone throw on the back of a horse. So what do you all think> ? oh he said not to worry about the dust. he pays his people to be busy and they will clean it. It is a 16 seat 7 inch gullette fqhb almost brand new, used about 6 times. How do i find a model on these things.. I did find one exactly like it on a circle Y web site. let me see if i can find it again. this saddle is a real nice one. looks black but has brown undertones. so if you are interested i will include all of the fixings.. make an offer.. i was asking 400..for the entire package. the pad is a nice stripe one with a cut back for withers.

When you lift the skirt, left side should be the plate. That is where it is on my Circle Y saddle.... The plate should have the model,... equitation, park & trail, cutting, reining. The serial number is also there and that would be great to have because I could check with Circle Y regarding the tree and twist width.
If it is the right stuff for us, I am VERY interested!!

Make sure the new "owner" pays the shipping cost not you!! Saddle shipping can be expensive....just try finding a box large enough is enough to make you nuts... Might be worth the extra $ to go to one of those pack & ship it for you places... The new owner is going to be paying for it as it is, so why kill yourself? smileys-home-474322

I took it to the dealer that it originally came from and i had two saddles. one was a no name with just a size number on the flab. 18 inch horrible stiff one. and he took both of them. i am sure he made a home run on the circly y but i am happy with what i got. so all ends well.
