There are many here in Florida that meet the needs. Expensive is as expensive does....1D is going to cost!! I'll ask my friends on the island and run barrels if they know of any 1D, sound horses around the NY area...

Thanks,, this man and his wife are real serious. apparently she comes from barrel background from way back in her family and have 3D and 2 D now. and trust me. money is not a problem if it is reasonable and what clicks with them .. pass to me the information via e-mail and i will print out and send to him.. a great home and responsible people so the seller is not to worry about who is buying.

Reached out to my friends on LI who barrel race. They actually have a horse... I put them on the spot though that "word" of it being good is not good enough, there needs to be a record of accomplishment can be checked on. I told them for the kind of money involved to expect a full vetting... Waiting to hear back from them on if the horse they are selling meets the criteria....
I will also reach out to someone tomorrow by my home. To my knowledge there is a girl who runs and she has won near 1/2 million with her one horse...she has several and heard looking to sell the ones she is not running and working with so much. Horses are superior bloodline and all have a winning track-record behind them... I will be in touch.

I spoke to my friends.... Have not heard back once I told them "word" wasn't good enough, the people purchasing wanted "proof" and the horse would be fully vetted for problems so they would be aware of anything lurking... I am thinking no proof, maybe soundness issues and a "spent" runner....
As for the one here by me, I inquired and have not heard back. The girl is out on the circuit competing so not home although some of her horses are. Her trainer is also with her out competing/training so no one could really give me a answer at the barn when I called. The workers would not commit to "up for sale or not" either way about those owned horses. I was told there were other horses in the barn but they are not 1D, have some soundness issues if run hard and often...they can teach and babysit a newbie, but they told me not for a seasoned veteran even one getting back into it, they would not work. This person is independently wealthy so has a private trainer, barn and such.... mini-graphics-smileys-957138
I did not forget but have no other information on any of the horses I knew about....

I'm keeping my eye out on ads around here as well. Not many 1D horses that I can see. But will keep looking.
