I have been watching the thread "Believe" and found it was time to delete it before it became to heated a discussion. Religion and Politics is a personal subject and should not be on Horse Adventures. If anyone wishes to discuss it than perhaps there are forums made for just that purpose.
Thank you
The Admin

Hmm, and here I thought I might try to come back more often. Guess not. OK....Lady I'll bite.
Why such a comment? Why so negative?
I didn't see much of that thread, and would not ever post my personal beliefs on religion on any public forum for any eyes to see... In this day & age things of such a nature can be used against you. I think the admins may be aware of what is and can be seen and tried to keep harm from occurring.
I applaud the admins who watch closely the activity here on this entire forum so words taken out of context, said maliciously and subject matter maybe not appropriate for a horse forum can be reined in before out of hand or something is said, seen and makes others hurt or angry... Personally, from what I saw I think it was a good action taken for the reasons above I just stated.... Rarely have I seen the admins here step in.....this forum is not like other places and most here police their own words... It is what others can see looking in, maybe tracking someones comments.....
No forum is going to be perfect, it just isn't. All comments made are personal opinion of someone and not everyone is going to agree all the time... But if our admins are watching that comments don't get out of hand or topics get on here that don't belong {x-rated in the past} or a possible topic discussion becoming heated they determine that could hurt someone ... then "Thanks" to them. I for one appreciate this remaining a friendly atmosphere....
smileys-home-474322 ... I now return to my cup of hot tea and reading the other recent posts made. Of course, this is MY OPINION!
BTW... I'm not a admin either!!

Hmm, and here I thought I might try to come back more often. Guess not. I can not imagine that you are basing your opinion of the forum on this one thread that has been deleted.. I personally feel that religion and politics should be discussed on forums made for such things. I was following the thread and felt the admin. has made the correct choice in removing it before it got out of hand. As hl4l has stated no forum is perfect but i think horse adventures is running pretty close. we do self monitor and the posters keep the threads and responses to the point and also keep the tone of the subject in a discussion mode. To bad you feel that you need to hold a grudge against horse adventures. as i recall, i did not see you making a comment on that thread. and if you did. that was only one since november. this is my point of view.. and i am sure others are feeling the same and are holding off telling you their thoughts and feelings.

Hmm, and here I thought I might try to come back more often. Guess not. We have sent you a private message regarding the thread that we deleted. Since you did not post a comment on it we are puzzled as to why it annoys you that it was deleted. ? The theory of life or death or God or no God or politics. Who is republican who is democratic. and who is liberal and who does not care ether way is no place for discussion on the forum that pertains to horses. The forum was founded for a place for people to gather to have fun and help each other with any situation that may arise and since it's first posting everyone has self moderated and kept the tone in a discussion in check.. Ladymcts. if you feel that having a thread deleted is causing you some kind of annoyance than please let us know.

Ha is the only forum where I felt accepted and understood. This was a good decicion as this is not cultural non religion non political forum. Theme is created with good intentions, but started off in the wrong direction. You are free to express your feelings but please make sure you do it in polite manner. Thank you, and please no harsh feeling. Let us just move on.

I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to do anything wrong. I've just been having a really hard time and hoped to have people that I know help me. Believing that I will see Sky again has been the one thing helping. I wish someone might have let me know there was a problem To come here and discover I had caused hard feelings is a little shocking. I'm not sure how to feel. I am sorry to anyone that got upset. I honestly just wanted a little compassion, not to cause trouble.

You did not cause any problems. i have a feeling that the admin thought it best to delete the thread so it did not turn into a heated debate as to who is a believer and who is not. each person has their own feelings as to believing they will see their beloved pets when they pass over the bridge. i sure hope so, as i have had many and i sure would love to see them again. as well as my parents. so you see. i agree with you, as i am sure many do . sorry you are going tru such a rough time. perhaps discuss that instead of "believing" and we can help you, at least we can listen.

You did nothing wrong!!!
Many people looked and several replied with their honest answers and feelings. Religion and politics are always a subject needing to be tip-toed around, forget in a forum setting, but in real life conversation you will get answers and heated words from some.
Sharing a burden with others lightens that burden, so please do share. It will help you, and we as friends are good listeners. You will also get support from believers that we will see our loved ones once again... and those who have other beliefs will keep mum on a subject they have no interest in. I know in my heart that my loved ones, human and animals, will be their to see me once I leave this Earth for another realm of life....That is near as much as I will post like this!
If the poster who is "bent" because a post was removed was here more often I might understand...maybe. But when you go back and see how long they have been a member and how often, or how much they have contributed.... If that hurts that persons feelings, well my apologies to you. You get back what you put in in effort... We are family, we are friends with each other although miles separate us.... Together through posting and sharing of ourselves we have grown to know each other... That knowing of each other is also a pivotal point in why the admins knew it was time to close your thread. They did not want anyone upset over words being written. A spoken word is many times received very differently than a written word, we all know that.
Oh, another book!!
Bottom line kskatt....you did nothing wrong! Not one thing. Come and share your thoughts and feelings. We will listen. Some will make comment, no one will think badly of another for their views.... jmo...

I was trying to remember exactly what I said. I do believe I did mention God, I think. I wish the thread had simply been closed, not deleted. I wish I had just said I would love to hear stories about actual visitations or unmistakable signs. You do not have to believe in God to believe in an afterlife. I do have to admit to not knowing how to feel about the way it was done. No message, nothing. I start out checking the "Participated" box and list. If a thread isn't highlighted I know it doesn't have anything new, so why bother? When I saw the title about a deleted thread I was curious. I don't understand why there was no notification, but a separate thread that if I'd been in a hurry wouldn't have even noticed. I know nothing was being said about me, personally, but it still felt like being talked about. It just felt very uncomfortable. About the thread I understand, not being notified, not so much.
